Our school has just celebrated its 40th anniversary and like any public school that isn't new we have been going through our library and pulling books from the shelves that need to be replaced. Our library needs new books, book sets and a greater volume of books to continue to improve the reading opportunities and excitement in our young readers. The love of reading is contagious and we are trying to infect our kids!!! Books help. We are trying to offer kids an abundance of opportunities and a rich school environment with Lego League, Silver Birch Book Clubs, a breakfast program a musical, a student parliament, and so much more. We are such a small school, and this program would be such game changer for us.
