The library is the hub of a school. It is essential to keep a library collection current. Information is changing at such a rapid rate that books need constant updating to keep information current. Students read many different genres of literature at various reading levels so to keep them reading, it is imperative to maintain a well stocked collection. The library also offers variety of reading programs to keep students interested in reading and develop their reading skills further. Our minimal budget only allows for limited book purchases as out of this budget other expenses such library circulation software licensing fees, book processing expenses and other supplies must be purchased. Reading is a lifelong skill and school libraries are essential in developing the love of reading.
