Baldonnel Elementary School

Baldonnel, British Columbia 8 / 140 Books Given

Principal Christine Todd Books are an important part of every person's life. We use books every single day at our school. Being a great readers helps to build academic success. Reading is very important at Baldonnel school. There is a very comprehensive home reading program that all primary students are involved with. The older students spend time reading with primary reading partners each day. Students engage in a program called noisy reading where they read aloud with partners, they have buddy reading (intermediate student paired up with a primary student). We would love to have more books to make these programs work properly, we need books to help engage students and also we want students to know the importance of books in their lives. We are building a program of Applied Design Skills and Technology at Baldonnel. We would love to be able to enhance this program with the necessary books on coding, designs, culinary arts, theatrical arts, and technology. We would appreciate any support.
