Teston Village Public School

Maple, Ontario 0 / 450 Books Given

Principal Cathy Martino-Porretta For a relatively new school, we have a very small library space and our collection is very small. Most of the books purchased when the school opened and over the first several years of the school were used and are now in pretty rough shape. The majority of our picture book collection consists of paperback copies that do not stand up well to the stress of high circulation among our primary students. Our students are voracious readers and rely on the school library to provide them with a constant supply of engaging and appropriate literature. Our community does not do a lot of fundraising as most are new immigrants to Canada and do not have extra money to spare.

We truly appreciate the support of Chapters/Indigo and particularly our local store in Woodbridge, ON.
