St. Peter's AcademyWestport, Newfoundland and Labrador 317 / 25 Books Given
Principal Jeff Quigley We are a very small school with a multi-grade format. We currently do not have a proper library system where students can check out new books to read and the nearest Public Library is approximately 50 km away. A major goal in our School Development Plan is to raise the reading level of our students. Last year with the help of the Adopt a school program we were able to add new books that engaged the students. A fresh set of books would go a long way for us to hopefully continue to create a love for reading and engage students.
