St. Joseph School

Calgary, Alberta 14 / 420 Books Given

Principal Paula Robinson St. Joseph School is a small K-9 school that relies on fundraisers like the Indigo Adopt a School Program and Scholastic Book Fairs to bring in new books and resources for our students.

Last year, with the help of the Dalhousie Chapters, we raised over $3000 toward new books and Makerspace resources for our Library Learning Commons.

The St. Joseph Makerspace, located in the Learning Commons, is a supportive learning environment where our students have the opportunity to collaborate with others to Design, Build, Invent, Create, and Share their ideas. We were able to, through donations and fundraising, stock our space with resources like Lego, K'nex, Straws & Connectors, Origami books and paper, several 3D pens, and much more! Our Learning Commons Team will be continuing to improve upon our Makerspace during the 1819 school year.

Thank you for supporting our school and our students now and in the future!
