Principal Kristin Kopra Our library plays a critical role in the teaching and learning that takes place in our school. We need to offer a wide variety of book choices for school programming. Our students deserve a welcoming up-dated library where they can find the latest and best picture books, graphic novels, and even information on their favorite sports figure. We continue to search for books that accurately reflect the lives and backgrounds of our students. In order to support our large ESL and immigrant population books with simple text and dual language are required. For many of our students, the only exposure to books is through our school library. A library needs to be enticing in order to support a lifetime love of reading. We would like to make our library the best place in the school.

Favourite books Non fiction is a great favourite. Students have indicated an interest in animals, the stars and engineering.
