Principal Jennifer Wilson Reading is an integral component of life-long learning. Ensuring students develop a love of reading is a significant step to continuing to purse a life time of learning. Students need to have choice and selection of reading materials at their disposal to develop this love of reading. Books are also central to our school curriculum - through literacy learning (reading groups and literature circles), and inquiry and research in all curricular areas. Students are also able to sign out books to take home to enjoy, so a broad selection of books is required to meet the interest and reading levels of our Kindergarten to Grade 7 students. We would like to add multi-lingual and parenting resources to our library to meet the needs of our school community.

Reading is a great way for our family to connect with one another in a time of busy schedules! In a time of iPads and phones, we find it gives us good reason to slow down. We can share favourite stories, laugh and learn together.
