Barriere Secondary School

Barriere, British Columbia 0 / 150 Books Given

Principal Paul Hembling Barriere Secondary School is a public grade 7-12 school in the beautiful North Thompson river valley. We are based in a low-income community area and therefore support many very needy families and children who may not have access to adequate numbers of books at home.

One of the key areas in our School Learning Plan is to improve literacy outcomes for students. Having exciting, new, and engaging resources for teachers and students to utilize will support us while achieving our goals.

We have a fabulous PAC and parent group at BSS supporting students, families, and and staff.

At Barriere Secondary we love literacy and our goal is that every child becomes a proficient reader and writer with a passion for books. Thank-you for considering BSS!
