Ruth King Elementary

Victoria, British Columbia 61 / 300 Books Given

Principal Vicki Ives At Ruth King Elementary, literacy is a school-wide goal and we are working together with families to support our striving readers. Throughout the past year we have been committed to growing our library collections with a focus on early chapter and early non-fiction books to support our students. Students say: “Lots of kids like to read chapter books, but the library ones are too hard and there’s not enough.” Additionally, we have established a Summer Reading Program to provide resources for students to borrow while school is not in session. We welcome your support to help us extend and grow our collection of books to support our growing school.
