Principal Jeff Redden The mission of the Wiltse Elementary School library is to provide the school community with a wide range of resources that support learning and foster a love of reading and literature. Our school library offers a safe and caring environment that empowers students to become independent, life-long learners and effective users of information and ideas. In order to meet the needs of our library patrons, the library collection must offer a broad and comprehensive range of literature and educational resources. Since our current collection is in dire need of an update due to age and new provincial curriculum standards, participating in the Adopt-a-School Program would give the library a much needed "booklift." Our participation in the program would enable the library to provide our staff and students with the necessary resources and materials needed to support and encourage creative and adaptable 21st century learners.
