Aldershot Elementary SchoolKentville, Nova Scotia 6 / 292 Books Given
Principal Crystal Turner-Tracy The average age of the library books in the school is 10-20 years. The books are in rough shape due to age. Many of the children in the school depend on the books in the school and the library for reading material as they don't generally have lots of books at home. This may be due to income constraints on the home front. School is where the students lives are enriched with literacy experiences. Newer books are more inline with the generational values. New library books will bring the school and students an update to new authors, new values and new focuses in literacy development. Books are tools that are used on a regular basis by students and staff. The books wear out and need replacing. Thank you for accepting our application.
