Principal Wes Myck York school is a small elementary school in the northeast quadrant of Edmonton. We are considered a socially vulnerable school and the majority of our students come from the surrounding neighborhood. Many of our students have limited to no home library and/or access to good literature. We have a supportive parent council but wish to supplement what they are able to provide for our school library.
Favourite books Our Division 1 students love classic stories by Robert Munsch. Our older students continue to love Roald Dahl and any of the new hot titles written by authors such as Rick Riordan.
