Brock’s library is essential to our students’ success and well being and it needs your help! Many of our books are outdated and falling apart. Our growing school needs more diverse, engaging materials to provide our students and staff with the resources they need to thrive.
During the Adopt a School program, all Brock staff and students will be involved in creative, arts-based activities that share their love of reading. Our amazing, dedicated teacher-librarian Ms. Kondo will be capturing the excitement daily on Twitter @BrockPS_Library.
We are so thankful for this opportunity to transform and energize Brock's library and learning community. Thank you all for your support!

My Mom is the person who really helped me fall in love with reading. To start with, I'd always see her reading for her own enjoyment. Every night before bed, she would spend time reading with me and my brother. Books were always around. From a really young age, my Mom would take me for ...
Reading is important to me because it makes me feel on top of the world! It opens the door to many opportunities. Like Dr. Seuss once wrote, "The More that you Read, the more Things you will Know. The More you Learn, the more Places you'll Go!"
I’m supporting Brock P.S. because this school is truly deserving of new books! Our library is the heart of our school, every student feels welcomed and I love to watch them cuddle up with books in all the cozy spots Ms. Kondo has created. My students look forward to library visits and are ...
My grade three teacher helped me fall in love with reading when she read us Charlottle’s Web at the carpet. It was an exciting and endearing story that captivated all of us!
Libraries are not just rooms full of books - they are important spaces in our children's lives. Libraries are the place where a child who doesn't have access to books at home, or with no means to access a public library, can access resources to support their learning. It's the place that first ...

My granddaughter has attended Brock Public School since she was in kindergarten; she is now in grade seven. She has had many amazing teachers but her grade five/six teacher, Ms. Givelos really stands out. In Ms Givelos' class, my granddaughter's love of fantasy novels was nurtured but she was ...
