Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island 116 / 400 Books Given

Principal K.J. White The grade 7&8 students at Queen Charlotte Intermediate school are a dynamic, interesting, and fun group of students who have a diverse range of interests. This makes it both fun and challenging to shop for books that will please everyone! This year, we are working hard to make our library collection as diverse and inclusive as possible; at QC, we believe that EVERYONE should be able to see themselves in a book. Thank you to Indigo and the Adopt a School campaign for continually supporting us in this effort!

Favourite books Current Top Five Favourite Books (or series) according to the grade 7&8 students:
1. Smile, Sisters, Drama, and the Babysitters Club graphic novels- in both French and English!
2. The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series by Jeff Kinney- a perennial favourite!
3. To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han- any time a movie comes out, the books just disappear off the shelves!
4. The Harry Potter series. Many students have grown up with the movies but have yet to read the books. Such a joy to be able to share them for the first time!
