WARBURG, Alberta 209 / 300 Books Given

Principal Wendy Maltais Our small school has students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, all sharing the same beautiful library. Our challenge is to distribute the library budget dollars needed to cover a vast array of reading levels and interest levels, from K-12. Our school participates in Accelerated Reading and with this program we promote our students' reading to support and encourage strong skills in literacy, comprehension and vocabulary. It has been wonderful to see the students choosing books with such excitement and for the pleasure of reading. However; this also means that our voracious readers are constantly on the 'lookout' for new books in our library. Which is why we are joining the Adopt-a-School program with the hope we can present new and exciting books to keep our kids reading!

Dream Library Wednesday

Our Wednesday Dream Library is by Taylor.  In her artwork, Taylor shows her reading subject interests, and creativity with spelling (if it is your Dream Library you can spell it how you wish!).  She has inserted a librarian that keeps the space nice and quiet for everyone to be inspired...

Dream Library Tuesday
