Principal Tracy LeMoine At McCrimmon Middle School, we have a wonderfully diverse community of 10-14 year old students; including new immigrants, students learning English as their second language and students with various learning challenges. Therefore, there is a need for reading materials at a range of levels, on a variety of topics of interest and connected to the curriculum. Community support is appreciated as we work on motivating students to read. At McCrimmon M.S., literacy and numeracy skills development are given a "Boost" using a variety of fun strategies, games, positive mindset activities and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. Design thinking, problem solving and coding skills are being developed as students work with technology tools like LittleBits and Spheros. We support our pre-teens and teens; recognizing that these middle school years are a critical time for character development and the formation of good habits. Donations will go towards resources that inspire students to become avid readers, makers, innovators and life-long learners.

1. Diary of a Wimpy Kid collection
