I discovered books at a young age when I first visited the library. Oddly enough the first two books I took out from the library had the biggest impact on me and really shaped the direction my grow-up life would take.
The book are, The Diary of a Young Girl (Anne Frank) and The Helen Keller Story. I have learned so much from the extraordinary lives of these amazing women whose morally uplifting stories grace the pages of history textbooks worldwide. They inspire me to live fearlessly in the face of adversity and to push forward in optimism, knowing that the quality of life is what makes it rich. I have dedicted my life In helping others and it’s thanks in part to the lessons I learn in such an early age that sparked this fire in me from reading both books.
The are both powerful testaments to the courageous and strong lives that each woman led and that we must all lead.
