When I was in grade four, my teacher Mrs. Randawa read the book 'Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing' by Judy Blume out loud to our class. It was such a great, funny story and everyone in the class loved it. Our class was pretty rambunctious, but when it was reading time, every single kid would quiet down to listen to the chapter of the day. Mrs. Randawa instilled a love of reading, a love of great stories and the understanding that a story could bring people together. This is something I feel strongly about sharing with my own kids and I can't wait for the day that they are old for me to share 'Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing' with them for the first time.
