When I was in grade 4 my best friend read Charlie and The Chocolate Factory and told me how good it was. I was not a great reader, but I could hardly wait to read this book. I fell in love with this funny, yet serious story about human nature. This book also started my love of reading. Today I read as many books as I can, and currently my students and I are enjoying James and the Giant Peach also by Roald Dahl. I truly appreciate there are so many different types of books to ignite the imaginations of all readers. I encourage everyone to get lost in their own love of reading.
