1. The current edition of the Guiness Book of World Records. I have never seen a book be more popular amongst a group of children, including those who claim to dislike reading.
2. Anything from the 'Who Was?' series. Students from grades 2 and up really seem to enjoy these books. They are a great way for children to learn about important historical figures. They have a good degree of humor and even have a Netflix series based upon them now.
3. The 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' series. For many these are the first chapter books to be read without the help of an adult. They are funny and filled with simple drawings and notes. They are incredibly popular and in high demand at Riverview.
